HAVERHILL — A two-year-old girl is in critical condition after she was rescued from a pool in Haverhill, on Thursday, June 20, 2024.
First responders were dispatched to a residence on Groveland Street around 12:30 p.m. following a report of a child found unresponsive in a pool.

According to WCVB, there is a round, above ground pool in the backyard of the residence where the girl was located.
First responders performed CPR on the child before transporting her to a local hospital. She was later airlifted to a Boston-area hospital for further treatment, where she remains in critical condition, according to Haverhill police.
Authorities are currently investigating the circumstances surrounding the incident.
