GROTON – The motorcyclist killed in a crash on Boston Road in Groton Wednesday has been identified as Cody Trudell, 27, of Ayer, according to Middlesex District Attorney Marian Ryan and Groton Chief of Police Michael Luth.
The preliminary investigation indicates that around 4:21 p.m. on Wednesday, July 10, 2024, a vehicle traveling westbound on Boston Road veered into the eastbound lane, colliding head-on with the motorcycle Trudell was riding.
Trudell sustained serious injuries and was transported to a nearby hospital, where he was later pronounced dead.
The driver of the vehicle, a 20-year-old woman from Townsend, remained at the scene.
The incident is being investigated by the Middlesex District Attorney’s Office, the Groton Police Department, and the Collision Analysis and Reconstruction Section.
