WEST NEWBURY — A 34-year-old woman was seriously injured today after she was thrown from a horse at a horse farm on Garden Street.
According to West Newbury’s police and fire departments, at approximately 11:11 a.m. on Thursday, Oct. 24, 2024, emergency responders from both departments, along with Atlantic Ambulance, were dispatched to Indian Meadow Farm Boarding and Training Center located at 168 Garden Street after receiving a report of a rider who had been injured after she was thrown from a horse.
When they arrived on scene, first responders found a 34-year-old woman with serious injuries. The woman was treated on scene and transported to Cammett Park. From there, she was flown by Boston Medflight to a regional trauma center.
