Driver ejected from vehicle in rollover accident in Templeton Saturday flown to hospital with critical injuries

TEMPLETON — On Saturday, Oct. 26, 2024, at approximately 2:35 a.m., Templeton police patrolling Baldwinville Road discovered a serious motor vehicle accident, the Templeton Police Department announced in a statement.

The officers who arrived on scene observed a single vehicle rollover in which the operator of the vehicle had been fully ejected from the vehicle.

The Templeton Fire Department and EMS were immediately called to the scene. The driver of the vehicle was flown via medical helicopter to the hospital with life threatening injuries, the Templeton Police Department said in its statement.

The Central Massachusetts Law Enforcement Council (CEMLEC) Reconstruction team was called to the scene to conduct a thorough investigation.

The identity of the individual involved in the accident has not yet been released.
