FITCHBURG — At around 2:27 p.m. today, the Fitchburg Public Schools announced on Facebook that Goodrich Academy, a public high school located at 111 Goodrich Street, had entered into lockdown.
Fitchburg Public Schools’ announcement didn’t specify why the school went into lockdown, but said that “messages will follow as soon as possible through phone, email, and social media.”

One occupant fled the scene of a roll over crash in Fitchburg Tuesday afternoon. The remaining occupant received a citation.
