Firefighters respond to four alarm factory fire in Leominster

LEOMINSTER — A large fire engulfed a factory on Marguerite Avenue in Leominster Sunday, prompting a response from several area fire departments, including those from Clinton and Princeton.

The incident, which escalated to a fourth alarm, was first reported by the Princeton Fire Department in a social media post made around 12:30 p.m. on Sunday, Jan. 26, 2025.

The Princeton Fire Department said in their post that Engine 2 had been dispatched to the fire, which had overtaken a factory located at 78 Marguerite Avenue.

The Clinton Fire Department dispatched Engine 6 to the scene, which assisted with providing water supply, while Ladder 1 covered the Leominster Fire Station downtown to maintain service during the incident, the Clinton Fire Department announced in a Facebook post.

As of now, officials have not released any additional information about the cause of the fire or any reports of injuries.
