Fentanyl, cocaine, and cash seized in Ashburnham apartment raid; two arrested

ASHBURNHAM — On Friday, March 28, 2025, around 1:15 p.m., Ashburnham Police and the North Worcester County Drug Task Force executed a search warrant at 54 Water Street, Apartment 3.

According to Ashburnham Police Chief Chris Conrad, officers seized cocaine, fentanyl, and a stack of cash from the residence.

James Jones, 52, who was inside the apartment at the time, was arrested and charged with:

  1. Trafficking Cocaine
  2. Trafficking Fentanyl
  3. Possession of a Class A Drug, Subsequent Offense
  4. Possession of a Class B Drug, Subsequent Offense
  5. Possession with Intent to Distribute, Class A Drug

Also taken into custody at the scene was Kelly-Sandra Bove, 36, who initially provided a false name to police, but was found to have an outstanding warrant, according to Chief Conrad.

Jones was held on $10,000 bail, which he later posted.

Jones is scheduled to be arraigned in Winchendon District Court on March 31, 2025.
