BOLTON — A crash with reported entrapment on I-495 southbound near mile marker 69.4 drew a multi-agency emergency response at approximately 4:01 p.m. Friday, according to the Bolton Police Department.
Bolton officers, along with Bolton and Berlin Fire-EMS and Massachusetts State Police, responded to the crash in the center median. One patient was transported by LifeFlight after the highway was briefly shut down to allow the helicopter to land.

Bolton police also assisted with traffic control and the temporary closure of on-ramps. The involved vehicle was towed, and the highway reopened to travel at approximately 4:53 p.m.
Massachusetts State Police will handle the final crash report, the Bolton Police Department said.
