HAVERHILL — Police are investigating a bank robbery that occurred shortly before 1 p.m. on today at Pentucket Bank, located at 395 Lowell Avenue.
According to a statement from the Haverhill Police Department, officers were dispatched to the scene at 12:43 p.m. on June 2 following a report that a suspect had handed a teller a note demanding money. The individual then fled the bank with an undisclosed amount of cash.
The suspect is described as a white male with a skinny build, standing between 5’7″ and 5’9″, with light-colored facial hair. No injuries were reported during the incident.
The investigation is ongoing with assistance from the Massachusetts State Police and the FBI.
