HAVERHILL — A Methuen man has been arrested in connection with the June 2 robbery of Pentucket Bank located at 395 Lowell Avenue in Haverhill, according to a press release issued June 3 by the Haverhill Police Department.
Ryan Messina, 36, of Methuen, was taken into custody by Haverhill Police Detectives at approximately 3:01 p.m. on June 3, 2025, in the area of 225 Merrimack Street in Methuen. The arrest was made with assistance from the Massachusetts State Police, Methuen Police Department, and the Federal Bureau of Investigation.
Messina has been charged with unarmed robbery and receiving a stolen motor vehicle (subsequent offense). He is scheduled to be arraigned in Haverhill District Court on Wednesday, June 4, 2025.
“We extend our sincere thanks to all agencies involved in the successful apprehension of Messina,” the Haverhill Police Department said in its statement.
