The Maynard Police Department’s arrest report indicates that McCart’s warrant out of the Westborough Police Department was for a charge of Larceny over $1,200 by False Pretense.

“Mr. McCart was evaluated by the Maynard Fire Department due to the nature of the crash, but declined medical treatment, signing a refusal form,” Officer Banatoski said. Adding, “Mr. McCart was advised that he was being placed under arrest for the warrant.”

McCart was transported to the Maynard Police Station for booking.

“The on-call bail commissioner was notified and confirmed that he was to be held,” Officer Banatoski said.

McCart was arrested on the out-of-town warrant.

No charges were filed against McCart in connection with the crash into the telephone pole.
