“The search warrant was based on probable cause developed during the investigation into the sale of crack cocaine by Amil and Gonzalez,” Detective Monahan said.

According to police, Felix Amil, 44, and Ivette M. Gonzalez, 30, both reside at 14 State Street, Apt. H, in Leominster, MA.

Members of the North Worcester County Drug Task Force and staff from the Worcester County House of Corrections assisted Leominster police in executing the search warrant.

“On July 1, 2025, members of the North Worcester County Drug Task Force and the Worcester House of Corrections were briefed on the investigation leading to the issuance of the search warrant, as well as the parameters of the search warrant, including the items to be searched for,” Detective Monahan said. “Law enforcement officers were also instructed to knock and announce their presence before entering, and that they were authorized to search any person present.”

Detective Monahan said all officers who executed the search warrant were wearing raid gear clearly marked with the word “POLICE.”

Detective Monahan said the search warrant was executed at approximately 9:00 a.m. on July 1, 2025.

“On reaching the front door of the residence, I knocked hard and loudly announced, ‘POLICE SEARCH WARRANT,’ several times,” Detective Monahan said. “Upon receiving no response, I instructed Detective [Dennis] Hatstat to breach the door using a battering ram.”

Upon entering the apartment, police found the following individuals inside:

  • Felix Amil – located in the bedroom
  • Ivette Gonzalez – located in a separate bedroom
  • Corine Bradstreet – known occupant – in the bedroom with Gonzalez

“I informed Amil and Gonzalez that I had a search warrant for them and their residence,” Detective Monahan said. “I held up the search warrant for Amil and Gonzalez to view and explained it.”

Detective Monahan said he then read Amil, Gonzalez, and Bradstreet their Miranda rights from a printed card he carries on his person.

“I asked all parties if they understood their rights to which all three stated they did,” Detective Monahan said. “I then asked all three parties if they wished to speak with police and all three stated, ‘No.’ I ceased any further questioning at that time with all involved parties.”

During their search of the apartment, police seized the following:

  • 3.07 grams (gross weight) of beige chunky powder believed to be fentanyl in Amil’s bedroom
  • 10.46 grams (gross weight) of gray powder believe to be fentanyl in Amil’s bedroom
  • 8.30 grams (gross weight) of an off-white chunky substance believed to be crack cocaine in Amil’s bedroom
  • 3.65 grams (gross weight) of a powdery white substance believed to be cocaine in Amil’s bedroom
  • 3.97 grams (gross weight) of a powdery white substance believed to be cocaine in Amil’s bedroom
  • 53.95 grams (gross weight) of a powdery white substance believed to be cocaine in Gonzalez and Bradstreet’s bedroom
  • 8 packets of Suboxone in Amil’s car
  • 48.83 grams (gross weight) of a brown substance believed to be mushrooms in Amil’s bedroom
  • 30 Gabapentin pills in pill bottle without label in Amil’s bedroom
  • A black Walther handgun with magazine (four bullets in magazine, one in chamber) with a defaced (i.e. scratched off) serial number in Amil’s bedroom
  • 4 scales – one in the dining room, another in Amil’s bedroom, a third in Gonzalez and Bradstreet’s bedroom, and a fourth in Amil’s car
  • 3 boxes of sandwich bags in Amil’s bedroom

“Based on my training and experience, having this amount of narcotics in one’s possession, along with the scales and sandwich bags, is consistent with the intent to distribute,” Detective Monahan said. Adding, “A check of the state system revealed Felix Amil, Ivette Gonzalez, and 31-year-old Corine Bradstreet do not have a license to carry.”

After completing a search of the apartment, a copy of the search warrant was left attached to the refrigerator with a magnet, Detective Monahan said. Police vacated the premises at approximately 10:35 a.m.

All three occupants were arrested.

Felix Amil was charged with the following:

  1. Cocaine, Possess to Distribute
  2. Firearm, Untraceable, Possess in Felony
  3. Firearm Violation with 3 Prior Violent/Drug Crimes
  4. Possess to Distribute Class A Drug
  5. Fentanyl, Trafficking in More than 10 Grams
  6. Methamphetamine, Possess to Distribute
  7. Possess to Distribute Class B Drug
  8. Cocaine, Trafficking in 36 Grams or More, less than 100 Grams
  9. Possess to Distribute Class C Drug
  10. Possess Firearm in Felony
  11. Possess Ammunition without FID Card (Subsequent Offense)
  12. Firearm without FID Card (Subsequent Offense)
  13. Possess to Distribute Class E Drug

Felix Amil has a 15-page criminal record spanning more than 26 years, with at least 108 arraignments in Massachusetts between October 1998 and July 2025. He has been charged with offenses including assault to murder, assault and battery with a dangerous weapon, various firearm violations such as possession of a defaced or loaded firearm during the commission of a felony, drug trafficking and distribution, receiving stolen property, larceny, and numerous motor vehicle offenses. His cases have been heard in Leominster, Fitchburg, Clinton, and Stoughton District Courts; Suffolk, Worcester, and Norfolk County Superior Courts; and several divisions of Boston Municipal Court.

Ivette Gonzalez was charged with the following:

  1. Firearm, Untraceable, Possess in Felony
  2. Possess Firearm in Felony
  3. Fentanyl, Trafficking in More than 10 Grams
  4. Cocaine, Trafficking in, 36 Grams or More, less than 100 Grams
  5. Possess to Distribute Class A Drug
  6. Possess to Distribute Methamphetamine
  7. Possess to Distribute Cocaine
  8. Possess to Distribute Class B Drug
  9. Possess to Distribute Class C Drug
  10. Possess to Distribute Class E Drug
  11. Possess Ammunition without FID Card
  12. Possess Firearm without FID Card

“During the execution of the search warrant, the firearm was located, unsecured, under the pillow of the bed Felix Amil was utilizing to sleep in,” Detective Monahan said. “Ivette Gonzalez is the lessee of the apartment 14H State Street, which is a two-bedroom apartment. The bedroom in which Amil was staying had two children’s cribs in it which belong to Gonzalez for her children. Also in the room was children’s clothing and toys belonging to Gonzalez’s children showing Gonzalez had access to the room on a regular basis for the needs of her children. Gonzalez also facilitated drug transactions for Amil during this investigation. Gonzalez, having knowledge of Amil staying in the bedroom occupied by her children’s belongings, facilitating drug transactions for Amil, in my opinion provides probable cause to believe Gonzalez had full knowledge of the narcotics and firearm located in her children’s bedroom.”

Corine Bradstreet was charged with the following:

  1. Possess to Distribute Class A Drug
  2. Fentanyl, Trafficking in More than 10 Grams
  3. Possess to Distribute Methamphetamine
  4. Possess to Distribute Cocaine
  5. Possess to Distribute Class B Drug
  6. Trafficking in Cocaine
  7. Possess to Distribute Class C Drug
  8. Possess to Distribute Class E Drug

Detective Monahan said he took all of the items seized from the apartment and transported them to the Leominster Police Department for evidence processing.

“All drug evidence will be forwarded to the University of Massachusetts Chan Medical School Drugs of Abuse Laboratory for further analysis, and all non-drug evidence will be submitted for safekeeping in our evidence vault,” Detective Monahan said.
