WEBSTER — On Sunday, July 20th, at approximately 2:03 a.m., Officer Shane Murray of the Webster Police Department observed a Honda Civic driving on Pleasant Street that was known to him from previous police encounters.
According to a statement from the Webster Police Department, Officer Murray told Officer Sean Ebbeling about his observations, and Officer Ebbeling located the vehicle shortly thereafter on Bigelow Road.
“Officer Ebbeling recognized the driver to be Krysta Soldi, whom he knew had a suspended driver’s license,” the Webster Police Department wrote in its statement. Adding, “Krysta had been charged numerous times in recent months for driving her vehicle while suspended.”

After the vehicle Soldi was driving passed Officer Ebbeling’s location, she accelerated down Bigelow Road at a high rate of speed.
Officer Ebbeling activated his emergency lights and siren and attempted to catch up to the vehicle, which was traveling at more than 70 mph.
“The vehicle did not stop for the emergency lights and continued driving onto Worcester Road at approximately 80 mph,” the Webster Police Department said. “Officer Ebbeling radioed to the other officers working the shift about the vehicle fleeing from him, which appeared to be driving towards Oxford on Route 12.”
Officer Ebbeling briefly lost sight of the vehicle until he reached the intersection of Worcester Road and Cudworth Road, where he saw it had crashed into the median while turning.
“The vehicle became disabled which is when the driver, Ms. Soldi, quickly exited and refused to listen to Officer Ebbeling’s commands,” the Webster Police Department wrote. “Joined shortly [thereafter] by Sergeant Mroczek, Officer Murray and Officer Trinque, along with Oxford and Dudley police officers, Ms. Soldi and a passenger were removed from the car. Ms. Soldi was subsequently placed under arrest.”
