RAYNHAM — On Sunday, August 31, 2025, at approximately 5:46 p.m., Raynham firefighters were dispatched to the rear of an industrial building at 95 Ryan Drive following a report of a fire.
According to a statement from Raynham’s Fire Chief Bryan LaCivita, when firefighters arrived on scene, they found a van fully engulfed in flames, along with four pallets full of rubber mats and hydroseed material that were also consumed by the blaze.

The van was unoccupied and no injuries were reported, though the intense flames damaged overhead power lines.
“Engine 3 and Engine 4 responded to the scene, with Raynham firefighters using deluge guns to extinguish the blaze,” Chief LaCivita said. “Brewster Ambulance provided assistance by responding to two unrelated medical calls that happened elsewhere in Raynham at the time of the fire.”

Crews from the Taunton Municipal Lighting Plant responded to repair the damaged power lines, resulting in a temporary power outage along Route 138 between the Easton town line and Interstate 495.
Raynham police detectives are continuing to investigate the cause of the fire.
