RAYNHAM — On Tuesday, Aug. 11, 2026, at approximately 7:50 p.m., Raynham Police and EMS responded to the intersection of Route 138 and Elm Street after receiving 911 calls reporting a crash involving a motorcycle and a pickup truck.
According to Bristol County District Attorney Thomas M. Quinn III, when officers arrived on scene, they found a disabled 1999 Suzuki TL 1000 motorcycle with significant damage in the intersection and debris scattered throughout the roadway.
The motorcycle operator, identified as 31-year-old Jason Marshall of Taunton, was found on the ground with significant injuries.
Marshall was transported to a local hospital, where he was pronounced dead a short time later.
Police also located a 2015 Chevrolet Silverado in the intersection with heavy damage to the right driver’s side. The driver of the pickup truck, a 57-year-old man, remained on scene and spoke with police.
The crash remains under investigation by the Massachusetts State Police Detective Unit assigned to the Bristol County District Attorney’s Office and Raynham police.
