WEST BOYLSTON — On Thursday, July 10, 2025, at approximately 5:30 p.m., Sergeant Thomas Balvin of the West Boylston Police Department responded to a report from Luis Vazquez, who stated that his ex-girlfriend and mother of his children had failed to return his vehicle as required by a court order issued on February 21, 2025.

“[Officer Ryan] Matte had the vehicle entered as stolen on July 10, 2025. [Detective David] Pupecki investigated and spoke with the suspect, Michelle Jasa, by telephone,” Sgt. Balvin said. “She said Vazquez knows where the vehicle is and can come get it anytime he wants. Vazquez told Pupecki he does not know where the vehicle is currently and that Jasa may still be using it to get to work in Marlborough.”
Sergeant Balvin said that after this, Jasa refused to speak with Detective Pupecki any further.
According to police, Michelle L. Jasa, 46, is a resident of Glastonbury, Connecticut.
“The vehicle in question is a 2022 Volkswagen Tiguan, last bearing MA Reg. [# redacted],” Sgt. Balvin said. “During their relationship, Vazquez allowed Jasa use of this vehicle. Jasa’s address in the RMV lists a Connecticut address.”
Sergeant Balvin requested charges of use without authority of a motor vehicle against Michelle Jasa.
Jasa’s arraignment was scheduled for August 7, 2025, in Clinton District Court.
