WEST BOYLSTON — On Friday, July 4, 2025, Detective David Pupecki of the West Boylston Police Department was in his cruiser, pulling out of the police station parking lot onto Sterling Street (Route 12) southbound, following behind a green Chevrolet pickup truck.

“I observed said vehicle break hard and abruptly turn left into a housing complex,” Officer Pupecki said. “I attempted to run the registration Ma.Reg.3RCM46 which came back revoked/insurance on a Toyota Sedan. Suspecting the registration may possibly be revoked and attached to another vehicle, I pulled to the side of the road. Moments later, the same Chevy pickup truck passed me on Sterling Street.”
Detective Pupecki said he pulled behind the vehicle, which immediately turned into a nearby parking lot.

“I turned around to investigate my suspicions as the vehicle revised directions heading north on Sterling Street,” Det. Pupecki said.
“I observed the correct registration to be Ma.Reg.3RMC46, which came back registered to a green Chevy pickup truck, however, the vehicle was uninspected with no inspection sticker,” Det. Pupecki said.
Detective Pupecki activated the emergency lights on his cruiser and stopped the vehicle as it turned onto Beman Street.
“As I approached the operator later identified as Geoffrey Killebrew, he was immediately confrontational demanding to know why I was following him,” Det. Pupecki said.
According to police, Geoffrey Killebrew, 41, is a resident of Worcester, MA.
“Killebrew was advised he was stopped for no inspection sticker, requested to produce his driver’s license, and asked why he pulled off the road each time I was behind him,” Det. Pupecki said. “I also requested an additional unit for backup as Killebrew’s demeanor was accusatory.”
Shortly thereafter, Sergeant Richard Petit and Officer David Westerman arrived on scene to assist.
“Killebrew stated he did not have a driver’s license and that it was under suspension for failure to pay child support,” Det. Pupecki said. “Dispatch confirmed Killebrew’s license was under suspension and that he has had two subsequent operating after suspension offenses as recent as February 2025.”
Detective Pupecki said he requested a certified copy of suspension through dispatch, called for a tow, and issued Geoffrey Killebrew a Massachusetts Uniform Criminal Citation for the following:
- No Inspection Sticker
- Operating Motor Vehicle with License Suspended (Subsequent Offense)
Killebrew’s arraignment was scheduled for July 11, 2025, in Clinton District Court.
