AUBURN — The Auburn Police Department is requesting the public’s cooperation as officers conduct an intensive search for a missing person in the Mill Street area.
In a public notice posted on social media, the department said its Detective Bureau is leading the effort, with assistance from outside agencies. The search includes a heavy police presence, as well as K9 and drone units.
Police are asking residents and community members to refrain from entering the search area or conducting independent search efforts, as this could “contaminate” the scene.
“Thank you for your cooperation,” the department stated.
