BOSTON — The bench trial of Kevin White, a 63-year-old Jesuit priest and former theology teacher at Boston College High School, is expected to begin Thursday, Sept. 18 before Judge James Budreau in Courtroom 817 of Suffolk Superior Court.
According to a statement from the Suffolk County District Attorney’s Office, White is charged with one count of rape of a child, stemming from allegations that he sexually assaulted a 15-year-old student at the school between 2008 and 2009, when White was 46.

The case is being prosecuted by Assistant District Attorney Laura Montgomery. White is represented by attorney Douglas Brooks.
White has waived his right to a jury trial, opting instead for a bench trial, the Suffolk County District Attorney’s office said.
