LEOMINSTER — On Saturday, September 20, 2025, at approximately 10:41 p.m., Leominster police officers were dispatched to the Twin City Mall at 975 Merriam Avenue following a report of gunshots fired in the area.
According to a statement from Leominster’s Police Chief Ryan Malatos, when officers arrived on scene, they determined that multiple gunshots had been fired.
A juvenile male with non-life-threatening injuries was found with a gunshot wound and flown by medical helicopter to UMass Memorial Hospital in Worcester.
“Further investigation revealed an adult male victim with a gunshot wound, who was transported by ambulance to UMass Memorial Hospital in Worcester,” Chief Malatos said. “He is also expected to survive his injuries.”
The incident remains under investigation by the Leominster Police Department.
