WESTBOROUGH — On Saturday, Sept. 13, 2025 at approximately 2:10 a.m., the Westborough Police Department was dispatched to 2 Connector Road, a strip mall, following a commercial alarm activation.
According to a statement from the Westborough Police Department, when officers arrived on scene, they discovered that one of the businesses had been forcibly entered, and items had been taken from said business.
“A successful investigation was conducted by the Westborough Police Detective Bureau, with critical support from responding officers, the WPD Crime Scene Unit (CSU), WPD K9 Unit, and WPD Drone Unit,” the Westborough Police Department said in its statement. “Through the review of surveillance footage and follow-up interviews, officers identified a suspect.”

Following their investigation, on September 22, 2025, George Donahue, 49, of Connector Drive, Westborough, was taken into custody.
Investigators also executed a search warrant at Donahue’s residence and in his vehicle.
Donahue was arraigned in Westborough District Court and is currently being held at the Worcester County House of Correction.
“No further information is available at this time,” the Westborough Police Department said.
