WARE — Authorities are investigating the death of Karyn Perez, a 41-year-old woman who was found deceased in her backyard on Bellevue Avenue Wednesday morning.
According to a statement from Northwestern District Attorney David Sullivan, Ware police responded to the area of Bellevue Avenue at approximately 10:00 a.m. on Wednesday, October 29, 2025. Upon arrival, officers located Perez, who is from Monson, deceased in the backyard of her home.
The Ware Police Department and the Massachusetts State Police Detective Unit attached to the Northwestern District Attorney’s Office are conducting a joint investigation into the circumstances surrounding her death.
Officials said there is presently no threat to public safety.
The Northwestern District Attorney’s Office reported that the Office of the Chief Medical Examiner will determine the cause of death.
