WARE  — The Ware Police Department, in coordination with the State Police Crime Scene Services and the State Police Firearms Identification Section, is investigating a report of gunfire on Monson Turnpike Road.
At approximately 1:00 a.m. on Sunday, March 9, officers responded to 298 Monson Turnpike Road following a report of multiple gunshots. Upon arrival, authorities recovered several bullet casings at the scene.
A vehicle was seen arriving and departing before officers could identify it. The Ware Police Department is asking anyone with information to come forward.
