Cambridge man arrested for refusing to leave Burger King in Leominster

LEOMINSTER — On Sunday, Oct. 19, 2025, at approximately 6:30 p.m., Officers Mackenson Adescar and Timothy Galvin of the Leominster Police Department were dispatched to the Burger King located at 41 Commercial Road following a report of an unwanted guest.

“Dispatch informed responding units over the radio that a male was in the restaurant, refusing to leave when asked,” Officer Adescar said. “Upon arrival, I observed the male, later identified as Kyle Bradford, speaking with Officer Galvin.”

According to police, Kyle A. Bradford, 25, is a resident of Cambridge, MA.

“Kyle appeared to be very intoxicated and was unsteady on his feet. I informed Kyle that the staff wanted him to leave the premises,” Officer Adescar said. “Kyle responded that he was not doing anything wrong and was only waiting for his ride. I then explained to him that since this was a business and the staff wanted him gone, he needed to leave.”

Officer Adescar said that, after some convincing, he and Officer Galvin escorted Bradford out of the restaurant.

Once outside, Officer Adescar said he instructed Bradford to leave the area, but Bradford refused and began arguing with the officers.

“Despite several requests from both Officer Galvin and me for him to leave, Kyle continued to refuse,” Officer Adescar said. “At this point, given that multiple orders to vacate the area were ignored, Kyle was placed under arrest for trespassing.”

Officer Galvin then handcuffed Bradford and double-locked the cuffs for safety.

“Officer Galvin then transported him to the station for booking,” Officer Adescar said.

Kyle Bradford was arrested and charged with the following:

  • Trespass

Bradford was arraigned in Leominster District Court on Oct. 20, 2025. With the defendant’s consent, Judge Steven Power found him responsible for the decriminalized charge of trespassing. The case was filed to close at 4 p.m. that same day.
