The reporting party, a 31-year-old woman from Worcester, told dispatch that she was calling in the possible restraining order violation on behalf of her boyfriend, Angelo, a 32-year-old man who resides on Wheelwright Road, Sergeant Davidson said.
“While en route, dispatch advised they had spoken with Angelo regarding the incident as well and Angelo advised there would be surveillance footage from the Village Market, located at 387 Main Street, Barre, MA, which showed the violation,” Sgt. Davidson said. “I would like to note that the Barre Police Department is familiar with an ongoing 209A [abuse prevention order] between Angelo and Angelo’s ex-girlfriend, Cassandra Kuhn.” Sergeant Davidson added that Kuhn used to reside with Angelo on Wheelwright Road.
According to police, Cassandra H. Kuhn, 36, is a resident of South Barre, MA.
“In the [abuse prevention] order Cassandra, the defendant, is to refrain from abuse, vacate, and stay away from XX Wheelwright Road, to have no contact by any means with Angelo, and to stay at least 100 yards away,” Sgt. Davidson said, adding that the order’s expiration date is March 26, 2026.
When Sergeant Davidson arrived on scene, he and Barre Police Detective Robert Brooks spoke with a 32-year-old woman named Krista who said that she had called Angelo to advise him that there were people taking boxes out of his house on Wheelwright Road.
“Krista stated that she is familiar with Cassandra and that it was not Cassandra moving boxes out of the home,” Sgt. Davidson said. “Krista advised she believed it to be one of Cassandra’s sisters, but was unable to provide a name.”
Krista said that while she was on the phone with Angelo, she observed a black car leave his residence and travel southbound on Wheelwright Road toward Route 32 in the direction of Ware.
Sergeant Davidson said that Detective Brooks then reviewed surveillance footage from Village Market. According to Sergeant Davidson, the footage did not clearly show who was entering or exiting the vehicle, but it did show a black sedan with black rims at Angelo’s residence on Wheelwright Road. Sergeant Davidson said that, in the surveillance video, Detective Brooks observed the vehicle leave Angelo’s house on Wheelwright Road and travel in the direction of Ware.
“As Detective Brooks and I were on scene, dispatch advised Cassandra had called in requesting to speak with an officer regarding the incident,” Sgt. Davidson said. “Cassandra stated she had been made aware that Angelo was alleging she had violated the order.”
Detective Brooks and Sergeant Davidson then cleared the scene.
“I contacted Cassandra and spoke with her about the incident,” Sgt. Davidson said.
Sergeant Davidson said that Kuhn told him that she had sent her sister, Megan, to Angelo’s house to get some belongings and to turn the household surveillance cameras back on.
“Cassandra stated Megan ‘only took a few pairs of shoes,’” Sgt. Davidson said.
Sergeant Davidson said that Kuhn stated she could prove she was not at Angelo’s residence on Wheelwright Road because she had Megan activate the cameras, which Kuhn said was captured on video.
“I requested Cassandra forward me the video of Megan and Megan’s boyfriend, Ryan, turning the cameras back on,” Sgt. Davidson said. “I asked Cassandra if Angelo had access to the cameras and the camera footage. Cassandra stated that Angelo did not have access to the cameras and that Angelo would not be notified that the cameras were turned on. Cassandra sent me the video of Megan and Ryan inside XX Wheelwright Road. In the video, you observe Ryan turning the camera on while Megan walks around the inside of the residence. You then observe Ryan and Megan carry several boxes out of the home.”
Sergeant Davidson said that after speaking with Kuhn, he spoke with Angelo and Angelo’s 31-year-old girlfriend.
“I advised Angelo what Cassandra had told me. Angelo stated he was not currently at the home but in Webster,” Sgt. Davidson said. “I advised Angelo that I would be submitting two violations of a restraining order charges against Cassandra for the incident due to Cassandra sending her sister, Megan, to the home to retrieve belongings and turning on the cameras without Angelo’s knowledge. Per the 209A, Cassandra is only allowed to pick up personal belongings with a police escort. After speaking with Angelo, I cleared the incident.”
Cassandra Kuhn was summonsed to court on the following charges:
- Violation of an Abuse Prevention Order (two counts)
Kuhn was arraigned in East Brookfield District Court on Nov. 18, 2025. Following her arraignment, Kuhn was released on personal recognizance.
Kuhn’s next court date is a pretrial hearing scheduled for Jan. 15, 2026.
