When Officer Stiles arrived on scene, she said she observed a white box truck with Connecticut plates, playing music while parked in Gervaisโ€™ parking lot.

โ€œI then walked around the truck and found Adolf McEwan at the parts department door next to the truck,โ€ Officer Stiles said.

According to police, Adolph George McEwan, 42, is a resident of New Britain, Connecticut.

โ€œI explained to Adolf that we had received a noise complaint regarding the music playing from his truck and asked if he could turn it down,โ€ Officer Stiles said, adding that McEwan turned the music down at her request.

โ€œI then asked for an ID and Adolf provided a Connecticut License,โ€ Officer Stiles said.

Officer Stiles then called McEwanโ€™s Connecticut license number into dispatch and was informed that he had an active warrant out of Chicopee District Court.

According to the Chicopee Police Department’s police log, on Feb. 2, 2025, McEwan was arrested in the vicinity of Fuller Street in Chicopee and charged with OUI-Liquor or .08% (this does not mean that the warrant for his arrest was for this specific charge, however).

Officer Stiles said that when Officer Jake Minear arrived on scene to assist, McEwan was placed under arrest.

Officer Stiles stated that Officer Minear placed Adolf in handcuffs, searched him, and transported him to the Ayer Police Department for booking.

McEwanโ€™s bail was set at $40.

McEwanโ€™s arraignment was scheduled to take place in Ayer District Court at 8:30 a.m. on Nov. 25, 2025.
