Dracut police ask public to help identify stabbing suspect after Bridge Street fight

DRACUT — The Dracut Police Department is asking for the public’s assistance with an investigation into a stabbing that took place last night, after which the suspect fled the scene and remains at large.

According to a statement from Dracut Police Chief Peter Bartlett, on Friday, Jan. 16, 2026, at about 10:09 p.m., Dracut police responded to a Bridge Street business after receiving a report of a large fight. The group dispersed by the time police arrived on scene.

Chief Bartlett said a preliminary investigation indicated a juvenile male had been stabbed.

Police later determined the stabbing suspect left the scene in an older-model dark gray Mercedes-Benz SUV.

“The suspect is described as being 5-feet, 4-inches tall, wearing a camouflage hooded jacket and black jeans,” Chief Bartlett said. “The investigation into this incident is active and ongoing.”
