METHUEN — On Thursday, Jan. 22, 2026, at approximately 5:13 p.m., Methuen police responded to the McDonald’s located at 170 Haverhill Street following reports of a multi-vehicle crash.

According to Methuen Police Chief Scott McNamara, police determined that a three-vehicle crash involving a Toyota, a Lexus, and a Honda at an intersection on Haverhill Street caused the Lexus to crash into an entrance of the McDonald’s.
The Toyota and Lexus sustained significant damage and were towed from the scene by Sheehan’s Towing, Chief McNamara said.

“The Methuen building inspector reported that the business was safe for occupancy, but that the doors needed to be temporarily boarded up due to damage,” Chief McNamara said.
No significant injuries were reported in the crash.
The crash remains under investigation by the Methuen Police Department.
