Vehicle crashes into solarium at Burger King in Gardner

GARDNER — On Friday, March 13, 2026, at approximately 4:05 p.m., the Gardner fire and police departments responded to the Burger King located at 7 Crawford Street following a report that a vehicle struck the building.

According to Gardner Police Sergeant John Braun, when first responders arrived on scene, they determined that a vehicle had struck the building’s solarium.

“The impact caused damage to the solarium; however, there was no damage to the structural integrity of the building,” Sergeant Braun said in a statement.

The city’s building commissioner and Board of Health also responded to the scene.

No injuries were reported among bystanders or the individuals involved in the incident, police said.

The Gardner Police Department is investigating the cause of the accident.
