TAUNTON — On Sunday, March 29, 2026, at approximately 2:30 a.m., Taunton police responded to Grove Street following reports of gunshots in the area.
According to Taunton Police Chief Edward Walsh, when officers arrived on scene, they located multiple bullet casings. Chief Walsh added that a vehicle and home in the area appeared to have been struck by bullets.
Police didn’t locate or identify any victims, and no one reported being injured by the gunfire.
