โI asked dispatch to confirm the trespass order in IMC [dispatch’s record system]; dispatch advised Miguel had been trespassed on October 30, 2025 for one year,โ Officer Dion said.
Upon arrival, Officer Dion spoke with German Ramirez, owner of Meetinghouse Bar and Grill, who said he was working in his office when he heard footsteps upstairs. Ramirez said no one else was working in the building at the time because of the blizzard.
โGerman called the owner of the building who checked the cameras while German went upstairs; he stated Miguel was seen on the second-floor cameras, but by the time I arrived, Miguel had left the building via one of the many exterior doors,โ Officer Dion said.
According to police, Miguel S. Bonaparte, 34, is homeless in Leominster, MA.
โI walked the building with German but was unable to locate Miguel,” Officer Dion said.
Ramirez said he had spoken with Bonaparte earlier in the day and reminded him that he was not supposed to be in the building. Officer Dion said Ramirez reported that Bonaparte left for a period of time, but when he returned, Ramirez contacted the property owner and police.
โI advised German that Miguel is trespassed and shouldn’t be on the property; I advised him to call the police if he returns,โ Officer Dion said.
Officer Dion then requested a summons for Bonaparte on a charge of trespassing after notice.
Bonaparte was arraigned in Leominster District Court on March 9, 2026. Following his arraignment, Bonaparte was released on personal recognizance under the condition that he stay away from the property.
Bonaparte then attended a pretrial hearing on April 9, 2026. His next court date is a compliance and election hearing scheduled for May 7, 2026.
