Three men arrested for masked armed robbery in East Bridgewater

EAST BRIDGEWATER — Three men have been arrested in connection with a masked armed robbery that took place in April in East Bridgewater following an extensive investigation, East Bridgewater Police Chief Michael Jenkins announced.

According to police, on Monday, April 13, 2026, at approximately 10:19 p.m., the Holbrook Regional Emergency Communications Center received a 911 call from a victim at 52 Bedford Street who reported that they had been robbed and assaulted at gunpoint by two masked individuals.

East Bridgewater police officers arrived on scene within minutes, but the suspects had fled in an unknown direction, Chief Jenkins said.

“Over the following weeks, East Bridgewater Police detectives, with the assistance of patrol officers, employed a range of investigative techniques and obtained multiple search warrants,” Chief Jenkins said.

The investigation led to the identification of a suspect vehicle and three individuals believed to be responsible. Chief Jenkins said probable cause was established, and arrest warrants were issued for the following individuals:

  • Brian Price, 22, of Fall River
  • Jihad Bynum, 27, of Fall River
  • Yannick Goncalves, 18, of Brockton

All three men were charged with masked armed robbery, assault with intent to rob while armed with a firearm and conspiracy.

Bynum was arrested on April 30 and later released on $10,000 bail.

Price, who police said had removed a court-ordered GPS ankle monitor and was actively evading law enforcement, was taken into custody on May 14.

Goncalves was located with Price and also arrested on May 14.

“The East Bridgewater Police Department would like to thank its law enforcement partners for their assistance in this investigation, including the WEB Major Crimes and Drug Task Force, Fall River Police Department, Brockton Police Department, Massachusetts State Police, FBI Lakeville, and SEMLEC SWAT,” Chief Jenkins said. “This investigation highlights the effectiveness of interagency collaboration and a shared commitment to holding those who commit violent crimes accountable.”
