SALEM — On Tuesday, July 28, 2026, at approximately 9:40 a.m., Salem police were notified of a body floating in the water near Central Wharf.
The body was subsequently recovered, the Salem Police Department reported.
The investigation remains ongoing.
Police said additional details will be released when appropriate.
