WALTHAM — On Wednesday, Aug. 19, 2026, at approximately 7:40 p.m., Waltham police responded to a crash involving a Jeep and a motorcycle.
According to the Waltham Police Department, the operator of the motorcycle, a 43-year-old Waltham resident, was transported to a local hospital with serious injuries considered potentially life-threatening.
The Jeep’s driver, a 47-year-old Waltham resident, was also transported to a local hospital with a back injury.
The Waltham Police Department said several witnesses were present at the time of the crash.
The crash remains under investigation by the Waltham Police Crash Reconstruction Unit.
