PHILLIPSTON — A woman was taken into custody after the pickup truck she was driving ended up on its side atop a guardrail on Route 2A near Ward Road early Saturday morning.
Phillipston Fire & EMS responded to the crash just before 12:30 a.m. on Sept. 5, 2026. Crews arrived to find the truck resting on its side on the guardrail.
The pickup truck’s sole occupant had extricated herself from the vehicle and declined medical treatment, according to Phillipston Fire & EMS.
Firefighters used a K12 saw to cut the guardrail away from the truck as Dale’s Auto Body & Towing removed the vehicle.
The operator was taken into custody. News Link Live reached out to Phillipston police asking what charges the driver faces and the circumstances that led to her arrest, but has not received a response as of publication.
