WEBSTER – On Wednesday, Sept. 9, 2026, at approximately 6:00 a.m., Webster police officers responded to 91 Slater Street to serve two felony arrest warrant to Matthew Bardier and Kristen Piskator in connection with a prior incident during which they were accused of passing counterfeit money at Price Chopper.
According to the Webster Police Department, when police arrived at 91 Slater Street, they proceeded inside the residence, located Bardier and Piskator, and placed them under arrest.
While in a bedroom, Sergeant Sean Ebbeling observed a handgun on the floor near a bed and a live round of .45-caliber ammunition, both in plain view. The Webster Police Department reported that police had prior knowledge that neither individual had a firearms license, and Bardier was a convicted felon with numerous convictions for drug distribution and carrying dangerous weapon-related charges.
Police then secured the residence and contacted Webster Police Detectives who applied for and were later granted a search warrant from the Dudley District Court.
During the execution of the search warrant, police located the handgun first observed on the floor of a bedroom that had a loaded magazine, a separate high-capacity magazine, numerous rounds of ammunition in different calibers, various firearm-related components (including a rifle barrel and numerous 3D-printed pistol frames) and a bag of cocaine.
“The firearm that was located appeared to be a 3D printed Glock-style handgun that did not have a serial number and is often referred to as a ‘ghost gun’ due to the firearm being untraceable as a result of lacking a serial number,” the Webster Police Department said in a statement.
As a result of this investigation, the Webster Police Department said Kristen Piskator, 43, of Slater Street, Webster, was arrested and charged with the following:
- Felony warrant — original charges: Three counts of uttering a counterfeit note, four counts of conspiracy, and larceny under $1,200 by a single scheme.
Matthew Bardier, 39, of Slater Street, Webster, was arrested and charged with:

- Carrying a Firearm Without a License
- Possession of Ammunition without an FID Card
- Improper Storage of a Firearm
- Possession of a Class B Drug (Cocaine)
- Ammunition Unattended
- Possession of a Firearm with a Defaced Serial Number
“All suspects are presumed innocent until proven guilty in a court of law,” the Webster Police Department added.
