FRAMINGHAM — On the evening of Monday, Sept. 14, 2026, the Framingham Fire Department responded to a report that a jet ski had caught fire in the parking garage of the Eagle Rock Apartments at 640 Worcester Road.
According to Framingham Fire Chief Michael Dutcher, the fire, which was initially held in check by the building’s sprinkler system, was extinguished by the arriving Framingham fire companies.
The fire involved a jet ski parked inside the garage.
“No injuries were reported, and no residents were displaced as a result of the fire,” Chief Dutcher said.
The cause remains under investigation, although the preliminary indicators suggest the fire was accidental in nature, Chief Dutcher sad.
