BOSTON — Patricia McGrath, 68, of Dorchester, was killed on Thursday, Oct. 1, 2026, when she was struck by a car outside Faulkner Hospital in Jamaica Plain.
According to Suffolk County District Attorney Kevin Hayden’s office, the incident remains under investigation and no criminal charges have been filed in connection with McGrath’s death.
State Auditor Diana DiZoglio accused AG Andrea Campbell of delaying enforcement of the legislative audit law, warning the delays are “giving the Legislature more time to destroy documents and records.”
A 28-year-old Dorchester man admitted selling multiple firearms, including ghost guns, in undercover purchases and pleaded guilty to federal trafficking and machinegun charges.
