BURLINGTON – Registration is now open for Burlington Public Schools’ free adult English as a Second Language (ESL) classes.
According to Burlington Public Schools Superintendent Eric Conti, the district has offered free adult English classes since 2020. This year’s program consists of 48 sessions, with classes held on Monday and Wednesday evenings.
The program offers instruction at four English proficiency levels. Participants take a placement test on their first day to determine the appropriate class level.
“The Adult Education program gives participants opportunities to build their English language skills, practice using the language and network with other community members,” Superintendent Conti said.
Community members interested in participating can learn more about the program and register online.
