
ASHBURNHAM – On Sunday, January 2, 2023 at 6:49 p.m., Officer Erik Salo of the Ashburnham Police Department was monitoring traffic in the area of Main Street when he observed a vehicle with a New Hampshire license plates enter Main Street from Water Street without stopping for the posted stop sign.
According to Officer Salo’s Narrative for the incident, he pulled the vehicle over, approached the vehicle and spoke to the driver – and sole occupant of the vehicle – who identified himself as Jose Luis Figueroa through his valid New Hampshire driver’s license. Figueroa is a 32-year-old resident of Keene, New Hampshire.

Dispatch then advised Officer Salo that Figueroa had an active warrant out of Lowell District Court from March 9, 2020, with a $250 bail amount.
Officer Salo then placed Figueroa under arrest, pat frisked him for weapons (he found none) and then transported him to the station for booking.
Figueroa was released on $290 bail.
