Fitchburg woman arrested, permanently banned from Leominster McDonald’s after tirade, assault of manager

LEOMINSTER — On Friday, Feb. 2, 2024, at 12:30 p.m., Officer Tanner Jakola of the Leominster Police Department was dispatched to the McDonald’s at 302 North Main Street following a report of an unwanted guest in the establishment. Dispatch described the unwanted guest as a white female wearing a green sweater and sweatpants.

Officers Justin Costa and Carlos Cintron also responded to the scene.

“Upon arrival, I witnessed a female party, later identified as Sheena Ducksworth, matching the clothing description outside in front of the restaurant,” Officer Jakola said.

Sheena M. Ducksworth, 36, is a resident of 159 Myrtle Street in Fitchburg. According to police, she works for Life Care Center in Leominster and she’s single.

When Ducksworth saw the officers, she took off her backpack and sweatshirt and placed them on the ground.

“Sheena began walking at a fast pace towards officers,” Officer Jakola said. “I asked Sheena what was going on. Sheena raised her voice and spoke in mumbled and slurred speech. I could not understand most words she was saying. She did, however, point at the manager of the store and called him a ‘b$tch.’ Seeing how worked up Sheena was, I called for another unit and had Officer Costa stand by with Sheena while I spoke with the reporting party and manager, Matthew Gardner.”

Gardner, 41, told Officer Jakola that around 30 minutes before police arrived on scene, Ducksworth came in to the McDonald’s and asked him if “McDonald’s served food.”

After confirming that McDonald’s does – in fact – serve food, Gardner said Ducksworth suddenly became enraged, called him a “b$tch,” and threatened to fight him, saying, “Meet me outside.” Gardner added that Ducksworth displayed the behavior toward other employees and patrons in the restaurant were frightened by her behavior.

“Sheena walked outside on her own accord and attempted to come back inside,” Officer Jakola said. “Matthew stated her behavior so frightened the staff and patrons that he tried to hold the door back while she was entering the store. Matthew wanted her trespassed from the store indefinitely. While speaking with Matthew, I could hear Sheena yelling in the background.”

Officer Jakola escorted Gardner over Ducksworth so he could verbally trespass her from the McDonald’s.

“I called Sheena over to speak with Matthew,” Officer Jakola explained. “Sheena aggressively walked over. I advised her Matthew was going to trespass her from McDonald’s indefinitely. Sheena then took a step towards Matthew, pointed her finger at him and stated, ‘No I’m not, I don’t give a f*ck about this little b$tch…’”

Officer Jakola stepped in and separated Ducksworth from Gardner, but Ducksworth reapproached Gardner.

“Sheena again began walking towards Matthew and stated, ‘Come here little b$tch,’” Officer Jakola said. “Fearing Sheena was walking over to assault Matthew, I had to grab her right arm and step in front of her. Sheena then began a monologue about McDonald’s and how much they pay employees. Matthew attempted to walk up a ramp, away from the situation. Sheena stepped in front of Matthew’s path, got in his face, and proclaimed, “What, what up, b$itch!’ I advised Sheena she was under arrest. I was able to grab a hold of both Sheena’s arms and hold them behind her back while Ofc. Costa handcuffed her. While getting Sheena in the cruiser to transport her to the station, she repeatedly called officers ‘b$tches’ and continued to cause a disturbance.”

Ducksworth was charged with disorderly conduct and assault.

Ducksworth was trespassed indefinitely from the McDonald’s at 302 North Main Street.

Sheena’s bail was set at $0.00.

She didn’t appear for her arraignment in Leominster District Court on Feb. 5, 2024. A default warrant was issued and her arraignment was rescheduled for Feb. 16. Ducksworth didn’t show up on the 16th either. There is currently a warrant out for her arrest.
