Leominster man arrested for allegedly drugging female roommate, sexually assaulting her, and slamming finger of another roommate in door during argument

LEOMINSTER – On Saturday, Oct. 28, 2023, at 11:40 p.m., Officers Adam Washburn, Nicholas Rice, and Gabrielle Larivee of the Leominster Police Department were dispatched to 250 Water Street following a report of an argument.

(The account and quotations in this article were taken from the printed Personnel Narratives of Officer Washburn and Larivee.)

While enroute, dispatch informed the officers that the reporting party said the argument was turning physical.

“Upon arrival I could see a male party, identified as Timothy Bradlee, run outside of the side entrance and yell that he wanted the three people inside of his home to leave,” Officer Washburn said. “Shortly after, I could see three females walk outside and they all began to argue with him on the lawn. I then asked Mr. Bradlee who called the police and he advised that one of the female parties did. At this time, I asked Officer Rice to stand outside with Mr. Bradlee while I went in with the other parties to speak with them. Be advised that all parties currently live at this residence, including Mr. Bradlee, who said that he pays the rent for the apartment, but also splits his time living at another residence closer to work.”

According to police, Timothy Bradlee, 53, resides at 250 Water Street in Leominster, identifies as male, and works as a server at Evviva Trattoria in Marlboro.

When Officer Washburn entered the residence, he spoke with a 32-year-old woman who said that the incident that evening began as an argument she was having with Bradlee about an alleged sexual assault incident that had taken place during the early morning hours of Monday, Oct. 23, 2023.

“[The woman] said that she did not wish to go into detail with me but she was sexually assaulted by Mr. Bradlee multiple times in the past and wishes to finally report what happened,” Officer Washburn said. “She said that the most recent event occurred this past Sunday night. [The woman] said that earlier in the day on Sunday, Mr. Bradlee spoke with her and asked her about some medication that was in the cabinet, which she thought was strange. That night at around 1:30 a.m., when Mr. Bradlee returned home intoxicated, he made her a drink which she believes drugged her and made her fall asleep on the couch. [The woman] said that her friends were also in the living room while she was asleep and saw Mr. Bradlee touch her. [The woman] showed me a preliminary drug test which showed multiple drugs present in her urine including THC, amphetamine, and meth.”

The woman then spoke with Officer Larivee about the incident because she felt more comfortable disclosing the details about the alleged sexual assault to another woman.

According to Officer Larivee, the woman said that on Sunday, Oct. 22, 2023, she had the day off from work. That day, the woman helped her friends Erin and Maria [last names have been redacted] move into “her house.”

“[The woman] stated that Timothy, her other roommate, went out to Chrisopher’s Pub later in the day,” Officer Larivee said. “[The woman] fell asleep on the couch in the living room with Erin and Maria. [The woman] was on one couch and her friends on the other.”

When Bradlee came home, he sat on the couch next to the woman. He then picked up her legs, placed them onto his lap and commenced touching her thighs and rubbing her legs.

“She also stated that his hands went higher and he rubbed his thumbs on her [female genitalia],” Officer Larivee explained. “[The woman] reports that she didn’t consent to any physical touching. [The woman] stated that they both were fully clothed during this interaction. She also stated that there was a blanket over her the whole time. After this incident happened [the woman] stated that she went into her room and shut the door. [The woman] has known Timothy for four years, but reports that they never dated or had any consensual sexual relations. While talking to [the woman], she became emotional. I educated her on the options she has tonight. She didn’t need to be seen at the hospital. I explained the process of a restraining order and a HPO [Harassment Prevention Order]. [The woman] decided that she wanted an emergency RO [restraining order]. She was able to come to the station to fill out the paperwork.”

While Officer Larivee spoke with the woman about the alleged sexual assault, Officer Washburn went into the living room and spoke with Maria and Erin about what had transpired that day, leading to the 911 call.

“The reporting party, Maria [last name redacted], stated that her and Erin [last name redacted] were upstairs today when they heard loud yelling between Ms. [name redacted] and Mr. Bradlee,” Officer Washburn explained. “They then went downstairs and could see the two yelling at one another about him drugging her and sexually assaulting her. [Maria] stated that Mr. Bradlee was denying the accusations and calling [the woman] crazy. [Maria] said she joined the argument to try to get them to stop and to have Mr. Bradlee leave. [Maria] said that when Mr. Bradlee yelled at her to ‘Get the f$ck out!’ she walked outside and began calling 911. [Maria] stated that Mr. Bradlee followed her out and told her that he heard what she was saying and then walked back toward the front door. When [Maria] attempted to go back inside, she said that Mr. Bradlee pushed her away with both hands on her shoulders and then slammed the door on her left pinky. [Maria] showed me a red mark on her pinky so I asked her if she would like any medical attention but she stated that she did not need any at this time.”

After they spoke with Officer Washburn, Erin and Maria spoke with Officer Larivee in a separate room about the alleged sexual assault incident that took place on the couch earlier that week during the early morning hours of Monday, Oct. 23, 2023.

“They stated they were sitting on the couch watching a movie and eating a pizza,” Officer Larivee recounted. “Timothy came home at around 1:30 a.m. Monday morning and took a slice of pizza. Erin stated that he then lifted [the woman’s] legs and sat under them. Erin and Maria both reported that there was a blanket on Timothy and [the woman] so they couldn’t see exactly what he was touching but they saw his hands moving under the blanket. Erin and Maria stated that [the woman] could have also been drugged. They found some pills in an old pill bottle that didn’t belong to any of them. They researched the pill and it came up as Vicodin. [The woman] stated that she thought she was drugged that night because she didn’t feel right. She is normally an energetic person and she was very sluggish. Maria believed that he may have put it in her water bottle, but nothing was witnessed. [The woman] was concerned so she took a drug test from the pharmacy and it came back positive for MET [meth], AMP [amphetamines], and THC [weed]. The box stated that it has to be sent to a lab for confirmation of the results. Maria also stated that Timothy can be creepy at times because he follows her and walks into her room all the time.”

Maria told Officer Washburn that when she and Erin saw Bradlee moving his hand around underneath the blanket, they asked him to move to the couch they were sitting on as they went upstairs to their rooms to sleep.

“[Maria] then stated that later on she came back downstairs and could see that Mr. Bradlee moved back to where [the woman] was,” Officer Washburn said.

“After speaking with all other parties, I went outside to speak with Mr. Bradlee,” Officer Washburn said. “Be advised that while speaking with Mr. Bradlee I could smell a strong odor of an alcoholic beverage coming from his breath. Mr. Bradlee stated that he doesn’t drive and just arrived home in an Uber from work. He stated that as soon as he entered the residence, he was confronted by [the woman] about him drugging her and sexually assaulting her. Mr. Bradlee stated that he told her that she was crazy and none of that happened. During the argument, Mr. Bradlee stated that [the woman] held a butter knife up and was pointing it at him before putting it back down. While talking to Mr. Bradlee about the incident, he spontaneously uttered that around a month ago he did give [the woman] a massage that ‘went too far’ but it was consensual. While the two were arguing, Mr. Bradlee stated that [Maria] and [Erin] came downstairs and began yelling at him as well. At one point, Mr. Bradlee stated that [Maria] went outside to call the police but he said that he did not push anyone and it was [Maria] that pushed him three times to get back into the house when he told her to leave, and then [Maria] came and punched his face shortly before we arrived on scene. I could not see any marks on Mr. Bradlee’s face at this time. I then asked Mr. Bradlee what the knife looked like and where it was and he said that he didn’t know and it was basically a butter knife and she probably hid it somewhere.”

After speaking with everyone, Officer Washburn placed Bradlee under arrest.

He was handcuffed and transported to the Leominster Police Department for booking by Officer Phillip Allain.

“I then returned to the residence to fill out the abused persons notice of rights which was signed by [the woman],” Officer Washburn said. “Officer Larivee also advised all of the other residents of their rights which they stated they may do at a later time. [The victim] arrived at the station shortly after me and wished to apply for an emergency 209A [restraining order], which was granted by Judge [Edward] Sharkansky.”

At the station after Bradlee was arrested, Officer Larivee read Bradlee his Miranda Rights and then asked him what happened during the early morning hours of Monday, Oct. 23, 2023.

“Timothy stated that he went to Chrisopher’s Pub and when he returned home he sat on the couch next to [the victim] because Erin and Maria were on the other couch,” Officer Larivee said. “Timothy stated that he was fully clothed and he lifted [the woman’s] legs to sit under them. He stated that he was massaging her feet and she was in and out of sleep. Timothy felt like this was appropriate and a friendly thing. He then stated that when Erin and Maria went to bed, he went on the other couch and fell asleep. At some point [the woman] got up and went to her bedroom. Timothy stated that he has no idea where she would have gotten drugged with Vicodin. He stated that he has no means to get drugs and doesn’t even know what the pills look like. Timothy said that he pays the bills for the house and moved [the woman] and her friends in to be nice. Timothy stated that about six months ago they had an encounter that they both had too much to drink and they may have ‘crossed the line’ but both parties consented. Timothy also reported that [the victim] comes into his room to sleep naked next to him. Timothy also felt that it was important to note that [the victim] is bipolar and off her medication because she can’t find a PCP [primary care physician] to prescribe medication for her. In light of these facts, I am charging Bradlee with indecent assault & battery on behalf of [the woman] due to the unwanted touching of her vagina.”

Bradlee was charged with assault and battery (for pushing Maria with both hands), assault and battery with a dangerous weapon (because Bradlee slammed the door on Maria’s left pinky finger), and indecent assault and battery (because the victim stated that Bradlee touched her inappropriately without her consent).

Bradlee’s bail was set at $500.

He was arraigned in Leominster District Court on Oct. 30, 2024; after which he was released on his own personal recognizance under the condition that he stay away/not contact the victim and witnesses.

He had a pretrial hearing on Dec. 14, 2023.

  1. Do you know what the details of the trail are, what happened, and where is this man now?

  2. If you can find the full names of the “witnesses” see how many people they’ve sued. Look up the “victims” history. You’ll find more there than this BS article. Let’s just say this is the first time. And funny how all uppers were in her system but no opioids…🤔
