Worcester man arrested after parking U-Haul at Shrewsbury CVS, stealing Nugenix Testosterone Booster from Walgreens across the street

SHREWSBURY — According to Shrewsbury police, on Tuesday, November 12, 2024, Aaron Wright, of Worcester, parked his U-Haul truck – which had three occupants in it – in the parking lot of the CVS at 197 Boston Turnpike and walked across the street to the Walgreens located at 225 Boston Turnpike, where he stole Nugenix Testosterone Booster, bags of candy, and other miscellaneous items that were all under $1,200 in value.

According to police, Aaron C. Wright, 45, is a resident of 10 Hammond Street, Apt. 1, Worcester, MA.

According to a Statement of Facts submitted to Westborough District Court by the Shrewsbury Police Department, police became aware of the situation after a call for service was made for a suspicious motor vehicle at the CVS located at 197 Boston Turnpike, the caller added that an individual was looking inside vehicles in the parking lot. Police noted that Wright’s passengers had left the U-Haul truck while he was in Walgreens.

“A call for service was made for a suspicious motor vehicle at CVS (197 Boston Turnpike) [involving a person] who was looking in vehicles as the individuals he was with had left him,” the Shrewsbury Police Department wrote in its Statement of Facts. Later adding, “At the time of the call, the business was closed but Mr. Wright did have items in his possession.”

Following the call for service, Wright was arrested and charged with the following:

  1. Shoplifting by Asportation
  2. Conspiracy to Shoplift
  3. Receive Stolen Property ~$1,200

Wright was arraigned in Westborough District Court on Nov. 14, 2024. Following his arraignment, he was released on personal recognizance under the condition that he stay away from Walgreens. Wright’s next court date is a pretrial hearing scheduled for Jan. 14, 2025.
