
FITCHBURG — The National Weather Service has issued a winter storm warning for the entire state of Massachusetts for a snowstorm that’s expected to hit the state around 7 p.m. Saturday and continue until approximately 4:00 p.m. Sunday, bringing with it, between five to eight inches of snow.
The current weather at Fitchburg Municipal Airport is reported as fair, with temperatures at 24°F and humidity at 57%. A significant change in weather is expected due to the approaching snowstorm, which could affect road conditions.
“Plan on slippery road conditions,” advised the National Weather Service office in Boston/Norton, MA.
