BOLTON — At approximately 2:30 p.m. on Friday, January 21, 2025, Bolton police and Fire-EMS were dispatched to the area of 563 Main Street following a report of a motor vehicle crash involving a roll-over.
When police arrived on scene, they discovered that four vehicles were involved in the accident, the Bolton Police Department said in a statement.
The Bolton Police Department stated that, due to heavy traffic on Main Street at the time, officers from the Berlin and Lancaster police departments were called in to help detour traffic away from the crash site, allowing first responders to provide aid and begin recovery efforts.

According to the Bolton Police Department’s initial investigation, a white 2023 Honda Civic traveling westbound on Main Street rear-ended another westbound vehicle. The impact caused the second vehicle to collide with an eastbound vehicle before striking a parked car in a nearby driveway.
After striking the vehicle in front of it, the Honda Civic rolled over and came to rest on its roof in the westbound lane of Main Street near Clinton Savings Bank.
Bolton EMS transported one driver to a nearby hospital.
Countryside Towing assisted in removing three heavily damaged vehicles from the scene, the Bolton Police Department said. Once the area was cleared, Main Street reopened to all traffic at approximately 3:24 p.m.
The crash remains under investigation.
The Bolton Police Department is requesting that anyone who witnessed the crash or captured it on a vehicle camera contact them.
