Throwdown! 2025 food truck and craft festival coming to Spencer in May

SPENCER — Spencer Fairgrounds will transform into a hub of food, games, and local flavor this May as food trucks and craft vendors roll in for a one-day festival.

According to a press release from WooTrucks, the event’s organizer, the Throwdown! 2025 Food Truck Festival will take place on Saturday, May 10, from 11 a.m. to 5 p.m. at 49 Smithville Road in Spencer. Admission is $5 at the gate, with free entry for children under 12.

Dozens of food trucks and over 50 artisanal craft vendors are expected. Attendees and a panel of judges will vote to determine the winners of the “Best of Worcester County Food Trucks” and “People’s Choice” awards.

Activities listed in the release include carnival-style games, music, and yard games such as cornhole, giant blocks, and ladder toss. Alcoholic beverages will be available to adults 21 and over, served by The Stein & Vine, a mobile bar service based in Central Massachusetts.

WooTrucks, which organizes food truck festivals throughout the region, operates a commissary and commercial kitchen in Boylston that serves food entrepreneurs, caterers, and mobile vendors.
