WORCESTER — Three men were arraigned Thursday, June 12, 2025, in Worcester County Superior Court on murder charges after a grand jury indicted them in connection with the November 2024 shooting deaths of Tracy and Evan Landry on Brookside Avenue in Worcester, according to Worcester County District Attorney Joseph D. Early Jr.
Shaquille Watford, 32, of Weymouth; Jeffrey Toney, 29, of Attleboro; and Sheldon Thorpe, 23, of Fall River, were each arraigned Thursday, June 12, 2025, on two counts of murder, armed assault with intent to rob, armed assault in a dwelling, armed robbery, use of a firearm while committing a felony, and possession of a firearm not at home or work.
Watford faces an additional charge of possessing a rifle not at home or work. Toney and Thorpe were also each arraigned on one count of carrying a rifle or shotgun.
All three defendants were ordered held without bail. Their cases are scheduled to return to court on August 15.
The charges stem from a November 21, 2024, incident when Worcester Police responded to a report of gunshots at a residence on Brookside Avenue. Officers located Tracy and Evan Landry at the scene suffering from gunshot wounds. Both victims died from their wounds.
The defendants were originally arrested and arraigned in Worcester Central District Court in April 2025 and have remained in custody since then.
