“Upon arrival, officers could hear a male and female speaking inside the residence,” the Shrewsbury Police Department said in its Statement of Facts. “Officers made contact with a female at the residence who appeared to be nervous when police arrived.”
Police asked the woman if she was the only person inside the residence and she said she was.
“After a brief discussion with the female, officers were made aware by dispatch that the female party the officers were speaking with filed for a 209a [Abuse Prevention Order] against Amilton Depina on May 27, 2025 through the Westborough District Court.”

“Per the order, Depina is not allowed to contact the victim and to stay at least 100 yards away,” the Shrewsbury Police Department said. “Officers entered the residence and located Depina hiding in the bathroom.”
Depina was arrested and charged with:

Depina was initially scheduled to be arraigned in Westborough District Court on June 9, 2025. However, his case was dismissed prior to arraignment by Judge Zachary Hillman.
(Please note: The nature of the relationship between Depina and the woman in the residence with him was not specified in the court documents obtained by News Link Live for this incident.)
