FRAMINGHAM — A 17-year-old male from Framingham was arrested at the St. Stephen’s Carnival after officers found him carrying a loaded Glock 17 handgun with 22 rounds.
According to a statement from the Framingham Police Department, carnival staff alerted officers working the event detail that the teen — who had previously been removed from the premises — had returned. While attempting to detain him, officers discovered the loaded firearm in his fanny pack.
The juvenile is already scheduled to appear in court next month in connection with a previous incident in which he allegedly brandished a firearm at a group of other juveniles.
The teen now faces several new charges:
- Possession of a Large Capacity Firearm
- Carrying a Loaded Firearm without an LTC/FID Card
- Possession of Ammunition without an LTC/FID Card
- Disorderly Conduct
- Trespassing
The juvenile’s name was not released due to his age.
