WORCESTER — On Wednesday, June 25, 2025, at approximately 6:10 p.m., Worcester Police officers assigned to the Vice Squad observed a drug transaction on the corner of Kingsbury and Shepard Streets.
According to a statement from the Worcester Police Department, when officers attempted to stop one of the men involved in the suspected drug transaction—later identified as 36-year-old Luis Blandino of Worcester—they observed him throw an object. The discarded items were identified as a bag containing crack cocaine and a scale.
Blandino was placed under arrest and charged with:
- Possession of a Class B drug with Intent to distribute
